1. Intake
Families can call or email Growing In Motion to setup an evaluation. You can also fill out our contact form online. Before the evaluation, families will be asked to complete an intake packet. This is where parents can discuss their child's strengths and challenges.
2. Evaluation
Evaluations typically take about 60-90 minutes. We make adaptions to the testing for children as needed. After the evaluation is complete, we will write a report for the family. Physical Therapy will require a script from a physician to evaluate.
3. Therapy
Based upon recommendations from the report, therapy can begin for the child. Parents will be encouraged to learn some carryover techniques to help their child progress between appointments.
